Cinematic Zine: The Western Years of James Stewart

As a fan of Jimmy, I put together a small zine about his Western film career using old magazines and film clips. It covers his Western roles, his personality off-camera, fun facts about Western settings, and even filming restrictions from that era. If you love Jimmy or enjoy Westerns, I hope you enjoy this zine. The images are in a comic style, with some film stills creatively redesigned. I love Western scenes and am excited to share my own Western-inspired work!

Graduation Project Ideation 1

In the design of Nonexistent Stage, I used a traditional folktale as an example, breaking the entire story into six scenes and first visualizing them through illustrations.

Show Banner Design

Designing a banner for a metal manufacturing company’s 2026 industry exhibition space, incorporating the industrial gray tones and the company’s signature colors.

Taitung Beautiful Harbor Seawall Proposal

The seawall at Taitung’s Beautiful Harbor requires renovation due to years of exposure to wind and sun. My proposal focuses on simplified fish silhouettes and incorporates colors that echo Taitung’s signature local blue.

The Inescapable Labyrinth Print Art

Chaos and harmony are, in fact, two sides of the same coin. In this seemingly chaotic maze, we search, discover, encounter, and collaborate. Perhaps there is no defined "exit" in this maze from the beginning to the end, but we still strive to move, observe, connect, and create a harmonious order.

Graduation Project Ideation 2

In the design of Nonexistent Stage, I explored how an innovated form of traditional opera could connect with the neighborhood, using colors commonly found in traditional opera to create atmosphere.

Logo Design Showcase | Selected Works

A curated collection of logo designs for my original brand, firearm parts business, handmade goods, and the Journey Book brand.

Ray Liang Entrance Lightbox Proposal

Created an entrance lightbox for a hidden Western omakase restaurant in Taitung’s alleys, using warm lighting and exploring multiple placements to find the optimal solution.

Go Against the Stream Ideation

This is my visual concept for Amsterdam – the Water Experimentation Site. I illustrated the scenes I hope to be seen, imagining what we should encounter in an exhibition in the year 2035.

Foam Photo Prop Board Design

Photo Prop Board Design for the Cross-Generational Bilingual Training Program.

Cubism Practice

During a case study of Le Corbusier’s architecture, I studied Cubist paintings and practiced simulations, treating space as the focus and depicting multiple striking perspectives in a single visual.
