Project Location: Huashan Old Railway Station, Taipei, Taiwan
Different architectural materials distinguish the characteristics of each
space, correlating with the orientation and height visible from the information station, guiding individuals through layers of spaces, akin to walking within the historical context of that era.
Layering, Interweaving, Folding
Analyzing the historical context and texture around the site, attempting to link each layer of texture and identify the spatial connections. Subsequently, incorporating material associations by utilizing the evolution of materials in the buildings on the site throughout history as the basis for a three-tier division.
